A new era of basketball in Berkeley officially begins on Nov. 10 when the Golden Bears tip off their inaugural seasons under new head coach Wyking Jones.
 
Jones takes control of one of the nation's top frontcourts that includes the program's single-season blocked shots leader Kingsley Okoroh and former Kentucky big man Marcus Lee, who's primed for his final season of collegiate eligibility with the Golden Bears.
 
Junior Don Coleman ended his first season as a Bear with a career-high 26 points in the NIT and looks to build on his momentum alongside a loaded freshman class that includes Wooden Award High School Player of the Year Juhwan Harris-Dyson and four-star standout Darius McNeill. In addition to the Maui Jim Maui Invitational the Bears will travel to Sand Diego State and Seattle during the non-conference season before kicking off Pac-12 play.
 
Cal will begin its run in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational at 2 p.m. PT (Noon HT) against Wichita State. The game will be televised by ESPN2 on Nov. 20.
