Arizona and Auburn held a tight matchup early on, entering the second half with the Tigers leading by just six points. Auburn broke away, continuing strong into the final minutes of the game, holding a lead of 19 with just 47 seconds of time left.

The Wildcats proved to be strongest from the free throw line, where they shot 77.8 percent compared to the Tigers' 66.7 percent. It was Auburn's deep bench, however, that made the real difference, with 33 points coming from non-starters. 

Bryce Brown became Auburn's record-holder for 3-pointers made when he sunk No. 263 of his career in the second half of the game.
