Arizona outlasts Kansas State, advances to Tournament Title Game

In the first semifinal matchup of the 2014 EA SPORTS Maui Invitational, the Arizona Wildcats defeated the Kansas State Wildcats Tuesday 72-68. With the win, Arizona advances to its first Tournament final since 2000, a year in which the Wildcats took the Tournament title.

Arizona had a just a two point lead with 2:30 to play in the game, as Kansas State's Marcus Foster hit three of his game-high 23 points. However, Arizona hit six of its final eight free throws in the final seconds of the game.

Kaleb Tarczewski scored 18 points and Gabe York added 15 for Arizona, which will play San Diego State in the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational final Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
