Gonzaga Basketball Schedule
This year the Gonzaga Bulldogs will look to build on their recent success, winning 132 games over the past four seasons – the third most in Division I history. They are also the only program in the nation that has appeared in the last four Sweet 16s, and last year's NCAA Tournament appearance was the 19
th in a row in Mark Few's tenure as head coach of the program.
Gonzaga boasts one of the country's best frontcourts in versatile and high-flying forwards Rui Hachimura, Killian Tillie, and Brandon Clarke. Both Hachimura and Tillie shot more than 56 percent from the field last season, with Tillie leading the team in three point percentage.
Josh Perkins, the team's leader in steals and assists, and Zach Norvell, Jr., the West Coast Conference Newcomer of the Year, will return to lead the team's backcourt.
The roster will be rounded out by several talented newcomers, including freshman Greg Foster, Jr., a four-star recruit out of Wisconsin, and transfer Geno Crandall, who led North Dakota in scoring in both overall games and Big Sky games last season.
Gonzaga will face off against Texas Southern on Nov. 10 as part of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational opening games.
The Bulldogs will begin their run in this year's Tournament on Nov. 19 at 8:30 p.m. PT (6:30 p.m. HT) against Illinois. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
