The 2023 Allstate Maui Invitational will tip-off Monday featuring a loaded field that includes 10 players from the 2023-24 Jersey Mike's Naismith Men's Player of the Year watchlist.
The Jersey Mike's Naismith Men's Player of the Year is presented annually to a player that achieves great success on the court and is regarded as one of if not the best player in college basketball for that season. Nearly all teams participating in the 2023 Allstate Maui Invitational have at least one player represented on the Top 50 list, including:
- Gonzaga: Ryan Nembhard
- Kansas: Dajuan Harris Jr., Hunter Dickinson, Kevin McCullar Jr.
- Marquette: Tyler Kolek, Kam Jones
- Syracuse: Judah Mintz
- Tennessee: Santiago Vescovi
- Purdue: Zach Edey
- UCLA: Adem Bona
This year's field currently has six teams ranked in the Top 25 of the USA Today Coaches poll, including No. 1 Kansas, No. 2 Purdue, No. 5 Marquette, No. 8 Tennessee, No. 12 Gonzaga and No. 25 UCLA.
The programs participating in the 2023 Allstate Maui Invitational have reached the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament a combined 263 times, including 83 Final Four appearances and 17 NCAA Men's National Championships.
