Hot Shooting Lifts Arizona Over Cincinnati, 101-93

MAUI, Hawaii (November 21, 2022) – Arizona used an explosive offensive night en route to a 101-93 victory over Cincinnati in Monday's final game of the day one at the 2022 Maui Jim Maui Invitational. The Wildcats will face San Diego State in Tuesday's semifinal at 5:30 p.m. HST.
 
Arizona shot a blistering 62 percent from the field and 53 percent from the 3-point line with Azoulas Tubelis leading the way going 12-of-18 from the field for 30 points. He also added a team-high 11 rebounds. Courtney Ramey, playing in his first game with the Wildcats, added 17 points while Oumar Ballo put up a double-double with 21 points and 10 points.
 
Cincinnati took an early lead going up 13-11 over the first seven minutes but a 3-pointer from Arizona's Cedric Henderson, Jr., gave the Wildcats the lead that they would keep for the rest of the night. The Bearcats got 33 points from Landers Nolley II, 23 of which came in the second half as he knocked down seven threes trying to help cut into Arizona's lead.
 
The Bearcats will take on in-state foe Ohio State on Tuesday at 12 p.m. HST.
