To kick off the third game of the 2020 Camping World Maui Invitational, the North Carolina Tar Heels faced the UNLV Runnin' Rebels in Asheville, NC.
UNC long-time head coach Roy Williams led the Tar Heels to another victory with the final score 78-51. UNC Senior, Garrison Brooks scored 14 points trailing behind RJ Davis in Game 3. These 14 points put Brooks on the board for UNC's record books, becoming the 78th player to score 1,000 career points as a Tar Heel.
Lead scorers for the Runnin' Rebels include Bryce Hamilton with 15 points in the game followed by Caleb Grill with 10 total points.
The Tar Heels will play in Game 6 of the Camping World Maui Invitational at 4 p.m. ET.
