The Bulldogs enter their second season with head coach Tom Crean at the helm. The predominantly football-centric school has kindled excitement for its basketball program, which has not won an NCAA Tournament game since 2002.

Georgia returns two strong seniors in Tyree Crump, their starting point guard, and Jordan Harris, a strong defensive player who ranked in the top 100 in steal rates last season. The team also returns big man sophomore Rayshaun Hammonds, who finished 36.6 percent of his shots from behind the arc last season.

The spotlight, though, will be on Anthony Edwards, touted as the No. 1 recruit in the country and the highest ranking recruit in program history. The freshman has size, strength, and explosive athleticism – a combination that will be invaluable to the Bulldogs in the upcoming season. The team welcomes four other top-100 prospects in this recruiting class, all of whom will be key to elevating the program for years to come.

Prior to the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, the Bulldogs will face Delaware State in a Maui on the Mainland game on Nov. 15.

Georgia will begin its run in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational on Nov. 25 at 2:30 p.m. ET (9:30 p.m. HT) against Dayton. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
