Duke Secures Decisive Victory, 90 - 64

The legend of Duke continues to grow. In the second game of the 2018 Maui Jim Maui Invitational, the Blue Devils took advantage of a 17-point halftime lead to beat San Diego State 90 to 64.
 
The first half belonged to Duke as the Blue Devils hit a three as time expired to extend their lead to 17. Duke's quickness was too much for San Diego State, as the Blue Devils outscored the Aztecs 25 to eight on fast break points. Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, RJ Barrett, and Tre Jones combined for 63 of Duke's 90 points.
 
San Diego State, which consists of mostly underclassmen, was overmatched by Duke's 'Big 4'.  The team shot 35.8 from the field and had 13 turnovers on the game. Duke was able to capitalize on those mistakes by scoring 19 points off those turnovers.
 
Duke will face Auburn State tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET in the next round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
 
San Diego State will face Xavier tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. ET in the next round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
