Arkansas State 60, Army 57
A 21-3 run to open the second half built a 20-point lead for Arkansas State men's basketball and the Red Wolves held off a furious rally by Army West Point to take a 60-57 win Saturday at Christl Arena.
A-State (3-1) led 24-22 at halftime, but a 21-3 run in the first six minutes of the second half gave the Red Wolves a 45-25 lead with 14:06 remaining. The Black Knights (1-2) refused to go away though, holding the Red Wolves without a field goal the final 5:10 and without a point the final 3:35.
A-State will take on Chattanooga Sunday at 11 a.m. (CT).

Chattanooga 75, Central Arkansas 64
The Chattanooga Mocs (3-1) needed a team effort to topple Central Arkansas (0-3) tonight. They got it in a 75-64 win in the mainland bracket of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational in Christl Arena at Army West Point.
Johnathan Burroughs Cook had a game-high 18 points to go with a career-high five assists while tying career bests for rebounds and steals with four apiece.
Justin Tuoyo added 16 points, six rebounds, six blocks and two steals.
The Mocs meet Arkansas State in Sunday's championship contest.
