Kansas Impresses in Win Over Chaminade

Kansas shot 64.4 percent (47-of-73) from the field and 51.7 percent (15-for-29) from 3-point range on its way to a 123-72 win over Maui Jim Maui Invitational host Chaminade. The 51-point margin of victory was the highest in tournament history and the most since Kansas defeated Chaminade 102-54 in 2005. The Jayhawks' 123 points is also tied for fourth-most in Tournament history.
 
The Jayhawks (2-1) finished with seven players scoring in double figures, led by junior Wayne Selden Jr. and sophomore Svi Mykhailiuk with 18 points apiece. The Silverswords (0-3) were led by junior Kiran Shastri with 17 while junior Rohndell Goodwin added 15.
 
Kansas will take on the winner of the UNLV vs. UCLA game Tuesday in a semifinal matchup, 5:00pm (HST) in the Lahaina Civic Center. Chaminade will play the loser of tonight's final game tomorrow at 11:30am (HST).
