Hoosiers Move to 2-0 With Victory Over Austin Peay Indiana's Kevin Yogi Ferrell and James Blackmon finished with 22 and 20 points, respectively, to lead the Hoosiers to a 102-76 victory over Austin Peay on Monday night's Maui Jim Maui Invitational Opening Game.
The Hoosiers shot 66.7 percent from the floor, and 59.3 percent from 3-point range, in scoring 51 points in both the first and second halves. Indiana forced 23 Austin Peay turnovers, leading to 33 points, and also had 29 fastbreak points. Nick Zeisloft added 15 points, Troy Williams finished with 14 and Thomas Bryant had 11 in the victory. Chris Horton led the way for Austin Peay, scoring 17 points, while Khalil Davis finished with 16. The duo was among four players to score in double-figures.
Indiana next faces Creighton on Thursday before traveling to the Championship Round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, where it will face Wake Forest on Nov. 23. Austin Peay will take on IPFW on Wednesday before traveling to the Maui Jim Maui Invitational Regional Games at Northern Colorado on Nov. 21-22.

St. John's Knocks Off UMBC, 75-53 Federico Mussini led the way with 18 points to help St. John's to a 75-53 victory over visiting UMBC on Monday night at Carnesecca Arena in a Maui Jim Maui Invitational Opening Game.
Mussini was one of three players to score in double-figures, with Ron Mvouika recording 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Durand Johnson recorded 15 points, all coming in the second half, in the victory. Now 2-0 on the season, the Red Storm shot 52 percent from the floor, while limiting the UMBC offense to just 27 percent shooting. Rodney Elliott and Joe Sherburne each had 16 points for the Retrievers.
St. John's will next take on Rutgers on Thursday before squaring off against Vanderbilt in the Championship Round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational on Nov. 23. UMBC faces Loyola (Md.) on Wednesday before traveling to Northern Colorado for the Maui Jim Maui Invitational Regional Games on Nov. 21-22.
