Kansas State 88, Purdue 79In the first game of the Championship Round of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational, the Kansas State Wildcats defeated the Purdue Boilermakers, 88-79 Monday. The Wildcats advance to the semi-final round of the Tournament, as they will take on Arizona Tuesday.
Marcus Foster scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Wildcats in the win. Stephen Hurt added 11, while both Nino Williams and Wesley Iwundu scored 10 for Kansas State.
Kendall Stephens led the way for the Boilermakers with 21 points, while Isaac Hass scored 19 in the loss.
