Accessibility for Disabled Individuals

The EA SPORTS™ Maui Invitational® strives to provide excellent service to all our guests, including those guests with disabilities and special needs.  

Parking

Designated parking is available for guests with disabilities. Disabled spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis with appropriate license plate or hang tag, so please plan accordingly.   Parking costs the same as all other event vehicle parking.   Permanent ADA-designated spots are located outside of Gate 4 on the northeast side of the Lahaina Civic Center.  

Entry @ Gate 4.

Accessible/disabled entry into the gymnasium is staged at Gate 4.  The Lahaina Civic Center is not equipped with elevators or escalators; guests will be directed/assisted to seating by event staff taking the best available route.

Wheelchair and Accessible Seating Policy

Accessible/disabled seating is available at the Lahaina Civic Center. Accessible seating is reserved exclusively for patrons with accessible needs and one companion.   The EA SPORTS Maui Invitational is committed to working with patrons on a case-by-case basis to adequately accommodate individual needs.

Alcohol Beverage Policy

No alcohol may be brought into the Lahaina Civic Center.  Alcoholic beverages may be purchased within the Beer Garden of the Fan Fest.  All persons must be age 21 or older and provide legal identification to purchase alcoholic beverages. Alcohol purchases are limited to two (2) beverages per buyer.  Management has the right to refuse service at any time.  Alcohol sales can be terminated at any time at the sole discretion of Tournament Management.

ATM

An ATM is located in the concourse area adjacent to Gate 1. The Tournament is not responsible for any transactions.

Bag Search

All guests entering the Lahaina Civic may be subject to a bag or clothing search.  Items that do not pass a security search must be returned to vehicles.

Banner and Signs

The Tournament has a no banner policy.  Small signs may be allowed (poster board size), but larger signs mounted on sticks or poles are not. Signs may not be hung or fastened anywhere in the Lahaina Civic Center. Small signs should not be commercial or obscene in nature, or cause any disturbance with the teams or other fans.  Tournament Management reserves the right to have any banner or sign removed at its sole discretion.

Box Office Phone Number and Hours

The onsite Box Office / Will Call may reached by phone during business hours.  The phone number is 808-667-DUNK (3865).  Messages are not accepted.  Hours of operation:

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday prior to the first game: 9:00am – 5:00pm HST
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of Game Week – 8:00am HST to end of last game each day

Cameras, Video Cameras, & Audio Recorders

Professional cameras are prohibited unless accompanied by appropriate media credentials. Cameras with lenses that are 3 or more inches in length are NOT allowed. Video cameras and audio recorders are prohibited.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

The event staff has been properly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safe evacuation of all patrons, including those guests with disabilities, in the case of an emergency. Please listen for PA instructions during an evacuation.

First Aid

First Aid Certified medical professionals are onsite and available to assist guests with medical needs. Guests in need of emergency first aid should contact the nearest Guest Services for assistance.  The primary station for EMS is located outside Gate 4.

Lost and Found
If you lose or find an item during the Tournament, please proceed to Will Call / Box Office located outside of Gate 3 for assistance.  Tournament Management is not responsible for lost items.

Merchandise

Tournament merchandise will be available for purchase at the following locations:

  • Host Hotels (Hyatt Maui, Sheraton Maui, Westin Maui): Friday, Saturday, Sunday prior to the first game: 9:00am – 7:00 pm HST
  • Fan Fest: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of Game Week – 9am to end of last game (HST)

Parking
Limited parking is available on-site.  A parking fee will be charged per car per entry. 

Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, patrons may be refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items including, but not limited to: alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, video recorders, audio recorders, fireworks, laser pointers, backpacks, stadium seats, coolers, knives, weapons of any type, baby seats or carriers, unauthorized noise makers, glitter, confetti, Frisbees, streamers, helium balloons, beach balls, parcels or packages, inflatable items, silly string, or large bags of any kind.   

Cameras with lenses that are 3 or more inches in length are not allowed. All guests entering the Lahaina Civic may be subject to a bag or clothing search.  The guest must throw the prohibited item in the trash or return the item to their vehicle. Tournament Management reserves the right to confiscate any prohibited items and/or escort the guest from the building.

Restrooms

Restrooms facilities at the Lahaina Civic Center are accessible.  Facilities are located within the gymnasium at the West end and on the Concourse level.  Additional port-a-potties are located throughout the exterior of the facility.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in public areas of the Lahaina Civic Center or any audience areas. Smoking is expressly prohibited within 25 feet of Gates 1, 3 or 4, on the Concourse Level of the Lahaina Civic Center, inside the Gymnasium and outside at or within the Fan Festival or Box Office areas.

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle buses are available between the Host Hotels and the Lahaina Civic Center during Game days.  Please contact Oahu Travel at 800-826-3822 for more information and to purchase shuttle passes.

Stadium Club

The Stadium Club is located in the Concourse Level of the Lahaina Civic Center and is not open to the public.  A ticket or appropriate credential is needed for entry. 

Ticket Policies

Will Call Policy
Tickets may be picked up at the Box Office / Will Call trailer at the Lahaina Civic Center located outside of Gate 3. Photo identification is required to pick up tickets. See Box Office for hours.
Children's Ticket Policy
Every person two years of age or older is required to have a ticket. Children under the age of two years must share a ticket holder's seat.
Lost or Stolen Ticket Policy
Lost tickets will not be replaced. If tickets are stolen, guests must provide proof of purchase and a police report.   Replacement tickets will be printed.
Re-entry Policy
Wristband, identified mark and or ticket stub may be required for re-entry.  See Guest Services rep for re-entry policy.
